PoTS Awareness Day

25th October 2024

This Friday, we’re coming together to raise awareness for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS). Let’s shine a light on this often-overlooked condition that affects countless individuals and families. 💚

25th October 2024

What is PoTS? PoTS is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that causes an abnormal increase in heart rate when transitioning from lying down to standing. Symptoms can include dizziness, fatigue, and fainting, significantly impacting daily life.

Why Awareness Matters:

  • Education: Increased awareness helps improve understanding and support for those living with PoTS.
  • Community: By sharing experiences, we can create a supportive network for patients and their families.
  • Research: Greater awareness can lead to more funding and research opportunities, ultimately improving treatment options.

Get Involved:

  • Spread the Word: Share information and resources on social media using #PoTSAwarenessDay.
  • Wear Green: Show your support by wearing green, the official color of PoTS awareness.
  • Join Events: Participate in local events, online discussions, or fundraising initiatives to support the cause.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure that those affected by PoTS receive the recognition and support they deserve. Let’s unite to raise awareness and foster understanding—because everyone deserves to be heard!
