The carpark is open and parking is available on levels 1-5
Exchange Ilford’s car park is safe, secure and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With easy access to the shopping centre, town centre and Ilford train station, it's the perfect place to park.
The car park has 6 levels for parking with:
• 31 disabled parking bays (Level 2 & 3)
• 40 bays for family parking (Level 1)
For access to the car park once the shopping centre has closed its doors, please use the Ley Street entrance for both pedestrian and vehicle access. Click here for the centre opening hours.
The car park has a height restriction of 2.08M(6ft 10inch).
There are parking permits available for local businesses, residents and commuters. Once purchased, simply drive in using the Automated Number Plate Readers or place the permit card on the reader to enter and exit. A New Way to Park
Parking at Exchange Ilford is now managed by our parking partner, YourParkingSpace.
What is the new system?
Exchange Ilford visitors no longer need a ticket to enter/exit the car park. The car park is now operated by a barrierless Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Simply drive in and park, and when you’re finished with your visit, pay for your parking session via one of the available payment methods.
Important: You must know your vehicle registration to pay for parking.
Pay when you’re leaving
There are more ways to pay for your parking session when you’re ready to leave Exchange Ilford:
Payment Kiosk- All original kiosk locations remain the same, located within the shopping centre and car park. When you are ready to leave, enter your registration number at one of our payment kiosks and follow the prompts to make payment and request a receipt (if you’d like one).
Please note: the kiosks in the car park only accept card payments. Cash can be used inside the shopping centre at the kiosks located on L1, L2 and L3. Cash payment kiosks are coin-only and no change is given (correct change must be used).
Pay By Mobile: YourParkingSpace app- Download the YourParkingSpace app here to pay using Exchange Ilford's location ID 11285 Once you have the app and you’re ready to leave, simply enter Exchange Ilford’s location ID 11285. Follow the steps to make your digital payment and be on your way.
Pay By Mobile: Call to pay- Call 0330 333 8434 and use your mobile keypad to enter Exchange Ilford’s location ID 11285, select your parking duration and complete your payment.
Express Payment- When you’re ready to leave Exchange Ilford, use your smartphone to scan any of the QR codes found on parking signage throughout the car park and centre. This code will link you to YourParkingSpace’s web checkout allowing you to make your parking payment in under 20 seconds.
AutoPay
Save time on parking payments at Exchange Ilford with automatic billing by YourParkingSpace. Activate AutoPay and simply drive in and out of the car park, automatically paying for the duration of your parking.
Register your vehicle for AutoPay here. The barrierless ANPR system will detect your vehicle on entry and exit, and payment will be made automatically when you exit the car park.
